Warren Protective Services Limited has been an Industry Leader in Security Guard, Private Investigation and By-law Enforcement Services since 1980. Canadian owned and operated we continue to provide professional services based on quality and integrity.

ABOUT US
Warren Protective Services Limited has been providing security guard, private investigation and by-law enforcement services since 1980. We are licenced through the Private Security and Investigative Services Branch. Our team prides itself on the personal and professional service that each client receives. All services are available in Toronto, North York, Thornhill, Richmond Hill, Town of Markham and the G.T.A.
Company President Laurie M. Morris and Vice President Jeremy S. Goldberg, oversee all operations of Warren Protective Services Limited. Along with Operations Manager Paul D. Pittman and an extensive team of supervisory staff Mr. Morris and Mr. Goldberg continue the tradition of providing services at the highest level, based on the foundations and principles of the company's founder, F. Warren Dickson.
These qualities, combined with integrity ensure that our clients receive a high level of service. To maintain this quality, each client is contacted on a regular basis to discuss any matters requiring attention, as in our opinion it is highly beneficial to be pro-active rather than re-active. Our approach is simple; we stress the importance of communication with our clients and immediately deal with any concerns raised. We strive to meet your expectations!
PRIVATE SECURITY SERVICES
ABOUT OUR PRIVATE SECURITY GUARD SERVICES:
1. All security guard & private investigation services are available to our clients twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
2. Warren Protective Services Ltd. and it’s staff, are licenced through the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services which is regulated by the said Ministry in conjunction with the Ontario Provincial Police and all guidelines are adhered to, under the Provincial Act for "Private Security & Investigative Services, 2005".
3. Our security guards are fully uniformed and promote a friendly, professional environment.
4. Training is performed by a qualified individual and carried out in a highly professional and productive manner.
5. We are knowledgeable with the latest technology of security systems, fire panels, and emergency equipment and we are easily trained on those unfamiliar to us.
6. We work with our clients to develop the specific standing orders that best suit their location, in addition to being well versed in emergency procedures.
7. All security staff will have a good command of the English language both verbally and written.
8. Supervision is supplied on a sporadic basis throughout the week, which is included in the hourly rates charged. The supervision may include by-law enforcement services on the property. However, we do provide by-law enforcement services on a per visit fee to those clients who do not utilize our security services.
9. Twenty-four hours a day, seven days per week, emergency assistance is available to both our clients and staff of Warren Protective Services Limited. A manager is always available for emergencies and our supervisors are scheduled accordingly. This should not be confused with a dispatch service, as we are on call for emergencies only, after business hours.
10. Regular support meetings will be conducted on-site, to include available security staff, property management and other team members as required.

Warren Protective Services Limited is authorized to issue parking infractions in the City of Toronto, City of Vaughan, Town of Markham and Richmond Hill. Our patrol supervisors and designated staff have been certified through the Toronto Police Force, City of Vaughan, Town of Markham and Town of Richmond Hill, to issue parking infraction notices. They have all attended the courses and successfully met all the requirements. All parking infractions are issued on legal notices provided by each City or Town.
In order to meet the economic challenges faced by any business or corporation, we have added by-law enforcement services as a regular duty of our patrol supervisors when they visit each site sporadically throughout the week. This service is provided free of charge when in fact a supervisor attends the site to inspect the staff. Please bear in mind that this is not a dispatched service and is conducted in the above manner, during regular visits. However, this service is available on a per visit fee schedule, if our security services are not being utilized on site.
We will assist you in the process of having your site passed for by-law enforcement, which may take time. Once authorization has been given, tagging services on the property may commence.

MINISTRY TRAINING & TESTING INFORMATION
The Ministry of Community Safety & Correctional Services has now confirmed the training & testing regulation in accordance with the Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005. Act
NEW APPLICATIONS
Effective April 15, 2010, all new applicants will be required to attend a 40 hour in class training course that will be offered by licenced agencies or authorized facilitators. The fee for this training will according to the provider and is the responsibility of the applicant. Once the applicant has completed the training course, the Ministry will be notified electronically.
Upon completion of the mandatory 40 hour in class training, the applicant must attend a recognized facility to complete the required Ministry test. Serco DES Inc., will be administering the said testing at a fee of $60.00 per test. Further details will be provided through their website. Test results will be forwarded to the Ministry and only those applicants who have successfully obtained a pass may apply to the Ministry for the required licence. It would appear that applicants may re-write the test at the fee of $60.00 in order to obtain a pass.
CURRENT LICENCEES
Individuals with Licences that will be expiring between April 15 and July 15, 2010 may apply for a renewal, without having to successfully complete the Ministry test. However, they will be required to pass the test by their next renewal date.
Individuals with Licences that will expire on/after July 16, 2010, will be required to successfully complete the Ministry test prior to submitting a renewal.
A renewal applicant, who fails to successfully complete the Ministry test prior to renewal will not be renewed and will no longer be authorized to hold a security guard licence. Should they wish to obtain the said licence, they must follow the regulations with respect to training and testing, prior to submitting a new application to obtain a security guard licence and obtain employment as a security guard.
TRAINING
Under the Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005, Training and Testing Regulations authorize an agency licenced to engage in the business of selling security guard services to provide a Basic Security Guard Training Program. As we are a licenced agency we have developed a training program, which is in conformity with required Training and Testing Regulations as based on the security guard training curriculum posted by the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services, Private Security and Investigative Services Branch. It is important to know that the Ministry does not endorse any agency or training facility.
